This is one of the reasons why it is so important for anyone caring for a horse to be observant as to how the horse is moving and how they are acting. Having a few bottles of different types of horse liniment in the stables is a good practice. This may be when a horse is presenting with a problem from stiff or pulled muscles the treatment is readily at hand. It is important to have some basic knowledge of these types of products. Some need extra care when applying them, and gloves should be worn by the handler applying the liniment.
